AIFC is designed for motivated young footballers who have dreams of playing at the highest level.

The approach is designed to nurture talent & equip young players with the necessary skillset to succeed as footballers, from technical ability, football knowledge and understanding, to an introduction to physical training and mindset development.

Weekly Training Sessions

Training sessions take place every Monday and Friday at 2 locations in Auckland. Sessions start at 4.15pm and run for 70mins for 5-10 year olds and 90mins for 11 years and above.

Classroom Sessions

We believe that having a good understanding of how the game is played and developing a high football IQ is an important part of the player journey. We conduct sessions via zoom each Tuesday that teach different aspects of the game. These sessions often come with homework to be submitted by the players and involve analysis of their own game via video recordings.

Life Skills and Values

Good people make good footballers, through football we teach players the value or respect, work ethic, resilience, emotional regulation, growth mindset and more. We strongly believe these skills are the foundation to success not only in football but in life.

Professional Pathways

We pride ourselves in not only preparing players for professional football but also for providing those players with the ability and attitude opportunities with professional football clubs.

Tournament Teams

It’s important young players have plenty of time playing matches and learning from them. AIFC play in numerous local and international tournaments each year. Players are selected from the academy to take part in these tournaments.
