When and where are AIFC coaching sessions?

AIFC hold sessions on Monday and Friday afternoons starting at 4.15pm at Kings School, Remuera. We will soon be announcing alternative locations in different regions of Auckland. For players up to the age of 10, sessions last 70mins, for those 11 and above, the sessions run for 90mins. Weekly zoom sessions are held at 8pm on Tuesday and run for approx. 30mins.

How much does it cost to attend AIFC?

The cost of registration is $400 per term. This includes 2 training sessions per week and a zoom session. Registration fee’s are due upon registration. If you wish to pay monthly, please contact us via email for details.

Does AIFC play in junior club competitions?

AIFC was set up to offer extra coaching for players who are motivated to play at the highest level. AIFC doesn’t play in regular leagues, but instead players are chosen from our academy to take part in local and international tournaments. The majority of AIFC players play for their club teams on a Saturday and train with us during the week and play for AIFC when selected in tournaments in NZ and abroad.

What do I do if my child can’t attend a session?

We use an app called Team Reach which schedules all of our sessions, you are asked to select whether your child is attending each session. This allows our coaching staff to plan sessions accordingly.

What ages does AIFC cater for?

Currently AIFC works with players aged between 5 and 14 years of age.

Will my child be selected to play in tournaments or friendly matches for AIFC?

Players who attend AIFC are eligible to play for AIFC in tournaments and other matches, however these teams are chosen based on ability throughout the year. AIFC is a competitive space designed for players who are motivated to play at the highest level.

Does my child need to trial to be a part of AIFC?

No. Anyone can join AIFC. All players start at our academy level and as their skill level progresses they can progress to be part of our elite programme. Our elite players are those who take part in tournaments and friendly matches. We work with players to develop individually and help them achieve their goals.

How do I receive my AIFC kit?

AIFC kit is compulsory for each session and can be purchased here. We will bring your kit to your first training session.

Can I book one on one sessions with AIFC coaches?

In the next few weeks we will announce our new 1:1 coaching programme. These sessions are available to anyone registered with AIFC and an online booking system will be available.
